Link and visited states in CSS

Often the states :link and :visited are combined together using a comma:

cssa:link, a:visited {
  color: red;
}
a:hover {
  text-decoration: none;
}
a:active {
  color: blue;
}

html<a href="#">link</a>

In this case, you don’t have to specify them at all:

cssa {
  color: red;
}
a:hover {
  text-decoration: none;
}
a:active {
  color: blue;
}

html<a href="#">link</a>
